Easy to assemble and use. I find my results are much cleaner if the ez rail hangs over the starting end of the log enough to set my Alaskan Mill on before the chain makes contact with the log. This helps make sure the leading cut into the log is level and clean. So if you want to cut a full 5′ get a longer rail or buy 2 with the connector. When setting up be sure the depth of your Alaskan Mill is enough to clear the dogs you hammered in the top of the log for stability. Also make sure the level/stabilizing screws are below the top edge of the ez rails so your Mill doesn’t catch on them. All and all a great system that is lightweight and easy to use/store/transport.
